		<description>I am really glad you liked the site. I understand exactly what you are talking about. I am from the west coast of the States and I believe the majority of us speak without an accent. There are a few words we say that would be considered with an accent but few notice.

When I speak English, I do my best to pronounce the words how they are meant to be pronounced. That means I say the R in cherish. I think the Americans you are speaking of are probably from the east coast of the States where they do tend to leave out the R&#039;s. They say &quot;Let&#039;s take the cah (car) to the bah (bar).&quot;

I think listening to the audio on our site and sites like spellcity will do better in teaching you correct pronunciation. Once you master that, then you can work on your &quot;New England Accent&quot;. ha ha
