Hi everyone! I’m starting to add short stories to the Improve My English pages. These are going to be fairly short stories that you can read along and listen to in English.
I have not added audio to them yet, but you can look forward to it. You will be listening to a native English speaker and by doing so, you can hear how to pronounce words that you are unsure of.
The best way to improve your English by using these stories is this: after you have listened to the story, read it aloud by yourself. Do this a couple times, and if you feel confident in reading the story aloud, get a friend and read it to them. Let them listen to you and give you some constructive criticism.
You can also post a video response on one of our Improve my English videos at youtube.com. We are also working on posting more videos there as well. But there are plenty to get you going. So look us up and give a listen. Because the more you listen, the more you learn!
